1. Is there a particular connection between each characters outfit and their personality?
Nomura-san: I tried to exaggerate each characters image according to the essence of his/her personality.
2. Which came first? Were characters designed to match the Tokyo setting, or was the setting molded to fit the characters style?
The real-world Tokyo setting came first as the foundation. Though the game is set in the real world, we can create a fantasy-world feel as long as its somewhere users never been to, I thought.
3. How are characters outfits related to their behavior?
The outfits are based solely on characters personalities and not their moral nature in the game.
4. Were any of the characters based on specific people? All were created from scratch.
Thanks for uploading. As usual the art looks good, but I'm kind of curious as to why the characters are so skinny. It looks almost a bit unnatural. Even still, it has that awesome mood that we love about the game.
Minamoto looks the best XD imo. (The japanese version of the game rocked) I hope the NA version does just as well.

as long as the character designer pays attention to the anatomy of the human structure, he's fine XD I mean, they are "fake" characters, and nothing's wrong with distorting the human body XD
